Bio - Short
Doc Landry (Tony) is a singer-songwriter originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia who is living in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
After abandoning piano lessons at the age of 14 Doc did not play a musical instrument or open his mouth to sing until he was a 36 year old husband and father. In 2011, Doc wrote his first original song as a birthday gift for his wife of ten years and the songs continued to flow.
As the years have passed Doc’s passion for singing and songwriting has grown. His musical sound is unique and diverse covering genres that include pop, acoustic rock, folk, and blue-eyed-soul. Doc’s songs are often infused with insightful, clever, and humorous lyrics that address topics directly from his life experience as well as his abstract intellectual meanderings.
Doc continues to write songs on the guitar, ukulele, and piano and is progressively working toward regular performance dates and releasing his first EP.
